23 International Award Flaiano di Italianistica – Luca Attanasio –

The Italian Cultural Institute of Nairobi is pleased to announce that, as part of the 51st edition of the International Flaiano Awards, the 23rd International Flaiano Award for Italian Studies – Luca Attanasio is announced for 2024. With the aim of encouraging the use of new technologies for the promotion of Italian culture abroad, the section dedicated to young people under 35 is reconfirmed.

The Award is promoted and organized by the Edoardo Tiboni Foundation, by the Ennio Flaiano Cultural Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and with the Italian Cultural Institutes Abroad.

The recipients of this award will be three authors in the “over” category and one author in the “under 35” category characterized by a particular inclination for the narration of Italian culture abroad through their works (short films, commercials, texts) published with the use of new technologies.

The works taken into consideration will be those published between 1 April 2023 and 31 March 2024 and must arrive, in duplicate, also in PDF format, no later than 30 April 2024, at the Prize Secretariat, Piazza Emilio Alessandrini , 34 – 65127 Pescara.

The Jury is made up of international culture experts and the awards will be handed out on Sunday 30 June 2024, at 8.30 pm, in Pescara.
