The Italian Cultural Institute is pleased to announce the 2025 edition of the “BookTuberPrize,” organized by the Centre for Books and Reading of the Italian Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Education and extended to the Italian cultural and educational network worldwide with the cooperation of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, for the promotion of reading and literature among young people.
The competition provides an opportunity to circulate knowledge of books among young people, developing their ability to understand, synthesize, think critically, and stimulating their digital skills through the use of digital media.
Inspired by the figures of booktubers -“video bloggers” active in the publishing field- the prize is aimed at boys and girls aged 11 to 21, who wish to participate in agreement with their educational institution in Italy or abroad, or independently.
To take part in the competition, participants must describe the content of a book, a poetry collection, a picture book, or a graphic novel/comic through a video review.
