The Italian Institute of Culture in Nairobi is pleased to announce that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) is offering scholarships for the academic year 2024-2025. These scholarships are available for Kenyan and Seychellois students, as well as Italian citizens residing in Kenya. The aim is to promote international cooperation in cultural, scientific, and technological fields, as well as to spread the Italian language and culture.
Scholarship Details:
- Duration: 9 months
- Purpose: To pursue study, training, or research programs at public or legally recognized Italian institutions.
Types of Scholarships:
- Master’s Degree Courses: 9 months duration. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree equivalent.
- Advanced Artistic, Musical, and Coreutic Courses (AFAM): 9 months duration. Applicants must meet the entry requirements of the chosen institution.
- PhD Programs: 9 months duration. Applicants must meet the entry requirements and provide an admission letter from the Italian university.
- Research Projects under Academic Supervision: 9 months duration. Applicants must submit a research project and an invitation/acceptance letter from the host institution.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s Degree and AFAM Courses: Applicants must be born after June 14, 1995 (maximum age of 28 years).
- PhD Programs: Applicants must be born after June 14, 1993 (maximum age of 30 years).
- Research Projects: Applicants must be born after June 14, 1983 (maximum age of 40 years).
