The Ministry of Culture (MiC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit (MIM) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), is thrilled to announce the VI edition of the National “BookTuberPrize” Award.
What is the BookTuberPrize? The BookTuberPrize is a competition aimed at promoting book knowledge among young people, stimulating their comprehension, synthesis, and critical thinking skills. This is achieved through video reviews of up to 2 minutes created by participants (single, couple or group of 3 people), in which they describe the content of a book or a collection of poems.
Categories of the Competition:
- Fiction
- Poetry
- Illustrated Book
- Graphic Novel/Comic
How to Participate:
- Choose a book or collection of poems in Italian, written by Italian authors and published by Italian publishers.
- Create a video review of up to 2 minutes.
- Upload your video to YouTube as “unlisted” by 2pm (time in Nairobi) on May 31st, 2024.
- Fill out the forms indicated in the call.
Who Can Participate: The competition is open to young people aged 11 to 21.
