We are pleased to inform you about an opportunity offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Applications are open, including for the academic year 2024/2025, for a grant aimed at supporting the establishment and operation of Italian language courses at universities.
The main objective of this grant is to facilitate the teaching of the Italian language by providing financial assistance to cover part of the salary for teachers directly employed by the university under local contracts. To be eligible for these grants, courses must specifically focus on teaching the Italian language, be conducted in Italian, and take place within the requesting institution. The funds granted for teaching support must be utilized by the conclusion of the academic year for which they are received.
Required Documents for Grant Application:
- A concise but detailed letter of application and motivation from the university, on official university letterhead, signed by the Academic Head, and stamped with the university seal (maximum one page).
- Completed Form A for the grant application.
- Form B, the final report on the use of the last received funds, should be completed exclusively by institutions that have previously received this funding. This form is a prerequisite for the approval and disbursement of the current grant. It is crucial to emphasize that this form must be submitted by the end of the academic year for which the funds were received.
The deadline for submission of grant applications is March 4, 2024.
