‘The Fragile Strength’

‘The Fragile Strength’ is a project depicting the work done by the Kenyan NGO BoxGirls, located in the slums of Korogocho. This association promotes boxing in areas where sexual abuse against women is common. The aim of Patricia Esteve’s work is to make the public think and reflect about the reality that many women have to face in their lives in the slums.
The exhibition runs till the 25th of March, open daily from 10.00am to 4.30pm. Closed on weekends and public holidays.
Patricia Esteve is a Spanish photographer with a great track record in the field of documentary photography especially in developing countries. Since 2011 she has focused her work in Africa, especially in the city of Nairobi.
