ARTISTIC RESIDENCY AND TOUR OF GUITARIST MATTEO DI LEONARDO

From 10 to 26 February, guitarist Matteo Di Leonardo (www.matteodileonardo.com) returns to Kenya. He will be engaged in a tour that includes Nairobi, Malindi and Watamu.

Matteo Di Leonardo (1993) is a jazz guitarist born and raised in Teramo (Italy). After starting his studies in Italy, he moved to Belgium, where he attended the Conservatory in Brussels and where he has been pursuing his musical career since 2015. Over the years he has played in several countries, both in Europe (Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland) and in Africa (Kenya). Notably, in 2019 he released the album ‘Kabisa’, in collaboration with some of Kenya’s best jazz musicians, including Juma Tutu and Mackinley Mutsembi.

During his stay in Kenya Matteo will take part in the following activities:
