The Italian Cultural Institute in Nairobi is pleased to invite you to the screening of Zamora, a film directed by Neri Marcorè and set in the 1960s.

The story follows Walter Vismara, a thirty-year-old accountant in a small factory in Vigevano, who suddenly finds himself without a job. His new employment takes him to bustling Milan under the supervision of Cavalier Tosetto, a boss with a true obsession for football. Between weekly “bachelors vs. married men” company matches and the hostility of his colleague Gusperti, Walter is mockingly nicknamed “Zamora” after the famous Spanish goalkeeper of the 1930s. Determined to prove himself, he seeks the help of Giorgio Cavazzoni, a former talented goalkeeper, embarking on a training journey that will change his life.
