The Italian Cultural Institute in Nairobi is pleased to present the third stage of the exhibition “An Infinite Expectation of the of Dawn” by Flaminia Mantegazza (curated by Giovanna Dalla Chiesa), organized in collaboration with the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

After Dakar and Addis Ababa, the exhibition will be showcased at the Nairobi National Museum from May 15th to May 26th.

The opening event, attended by the artist, will take place on Friday, March 15th, 2024, starting at 6:30 PM, at the Nairobi National Museum.

This is a unique opportunity to explore the evocative works of Flaminia Mantegazza, crafted through the creative reuse of paper, and to delve into the reflection on sustainability that permeates each creation.

During the event, you will have the chance to personally meet the artist, listen to the live performance of the talented cellist Masala Sefu, and enjoy a typical Italian aperitivo offered by the Italian Cultural Institute. It will be a captivating experience that blends art, culture, and the pleasure of sharing ideas.

We remind you that the exhibition “An Infinite Anticipation of Dawn” will remain open until March 26th, 2024, at the Nairobi National Museum, providing everyone the opportunity to delve into the connection between art and sustainability through the eyes and hands of Flaminia Mantegazza.
