The Italian Cultural Institute of Nairobi is pleased to invite you to an evening dedicated to cinema and culture. In collaboration with the international short film festival Med-Limes – at the borders of the Mediterranean, now in its seventh edition, we are delighted to present an evening of screenings on May 24th starting at 6:00 PM at the Noir Gallery on Muthangary Drive, Nairobi.
During the event, we will have the pleasure of screening three short films competing in this year’s Med-Limes festival. Following the screenings, there will be an enriching discussion with Maria Carla Del Duca, one of the festival organizers, and Kenyan director and actor Martin Kigondu. This will be a unique opportunity to explore and discuss important topics such as food sustainability, deforestation, and the connection to one’s roots and land.
Admission is free, but registration is required by sending an email to iicnairobi@esteri.it by Wednesday, May 22nd. At the end of the evening, we will be pleased to offer an aperitif to all participants.
