The Italian Cultural Institute of Nairobi is pleased to announce the arrival in Kenya of the extraordinary Swiss-Italian harpist Kety Fusco, one of the most innovative artists in today’s contemporary music scene.

With two master’s degrees in classical harp and extensive experience in orchestras and chamber music ensembles, Kety has turned her solid academic background into a springboard for artistic experimentation, revolutionizing the role of the harp through the use of the electric harp and the creation of a unique sonic language.

On Sunday, May 4th, Kety Fusco will perform at Mass House (Ngong Road, Nairobi) on the occasion of International Jazz Day, alongside several renowned artists from the Kenyan music scene, including trumpeter Mackinley, singer Brian Sigu, and many more.

Tickets are required and can be purchased at the following link: https://hisynergy.hustlesasa.shop/

For those who would like to enjoy her music in a more intimate setting, Kety will also perform in a free public concert at Geco Café on Tuesday, May 6th from 7pm.

Kety Fusco has graced some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including London’s Royal Albert Hall, the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Paléo Festival, and La Notte della Taranta, sharing the stage with artists such as Stromae, Jeff Mills, and Agnes Obel.

Her experimental album The Harp – Chapter I was praised by leading publications such as The Guardian, and her music has been featured on BBC Radio by Iggy Pop, with whom she collaborated on her upcoming album BOHÈME, scheduled for release in 2025.

Don’t miss the chance to experience live an artist who is redefining the sound of the harp and captivating international audiences with her visionary and unmistakable style.
