On the occasion of Europe Day, the Italian Cultural Institute invites you to the exhibition “Europe. Italian illustration narrates the Europe of peoples”.
The exhibition has been created by Fondazione Torino Musei in collaboration with the City of Turin, Region of Piedmont and Palazzo Madama, with the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture.
The exhibition aims to illustrate the set of founding values of the European Union by composing an up-to-date and creative tale of Europe and its principles through a series of illustrations touching on various themes, such as freedom, democracy and environmental protection.
The sixteen original illustrations were created by internationally renowned Italian artists: Bianca Bagnarelli, Matteo Berton, Francesco Bongiorni, Giulia Conoscenti, Camilla Falsini, Gianluca Folì, Ale Giorgini, Riccardo Guasco, Marini Marcolin, Anna Parini, Emiliano Ponzi, Francesco Poroli, Irene Rinaldi, Lucio Schiavon, Elisa Seitzinger, and Andrea Serio.
The exhibition will be on display at Village Market from 6 to 9 May.
