“Attese e ritorni” by Gianfranco Morino for the fourth edition of Incontri Italiani
On Thursday, December 4th at 6:30 pm, the fourth edition of Incontri Italiani returns. The monthly series is created and promoted by Malindikenya.net at the Muthaiga Shopping Centre, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Nairobi, Enoteca, and La Dolce Vita.
The event, held in Italian, is designed as a moment of cultural exchange and connection.
The protagonist of the evening will be Gianfranco Morino—surgeon at Ruaraka Neema Hospital and founder of World Friends Onlus—who will present his poetry collection Attese e ritorni.
The evening will be presented by Elena Gallenca, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Nairobi, and enriched by the poetry of Gianfranco Morino, paired with Freddie Del Curatolo’s translations of Kenyan poets such as Kazungu Wa Hawerisa.

As always, the format combines literature and conviviality:
at 6:30 pm an Italian aperitif with wine tasting will be offered at Enoteca, followed by the meeting with the author (contribution Kes 1,500).
Afterwards, those wishing to extend the evening may dine at the restaurant La Dolce Vita, which for the occasion will offer a special set menu at a reduced price.
