The Italian Design Day is back!
The Italian Design Day is the initiative through which the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation aims to foster abroad the Italian experience in design and architecture fields. The theme of this year is “Re-generation. Design and new technologies for a sustainable future“.
Together with the Embassy of Italy in Kenya and in collaboration with the University of Embu and Kenyatta University, we will celebrate Italian design and the collaborations between Kenya and Italy in this field organizing two conferences:
22.03.2022: conference “Start-ups, entrepreneurship and creative industry: best practices from Kenya and Italy” at University of Embu. The line-up of the guest includes E4Impact and Seedling Designs, an Italian company based in Kenya that offers home décor products which a special attention to sustainability.

23.03.2022: conference “Design and new technologies for a sustainable future” at Kenyatta University (Nairobi). During the event which the Italian companies Seedling Designs and Ohoskin will talk about their experience in the design and sustainability fields.
