Co-lectures by Prof. Michele Filippo Fontefrancesco (UniSG)

Michele Filippo Fontefrancesco (Alessandria, 1983) is a researcher of cultural anthropology at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo.

His research focuses on the theme of local development, with particular attention to issues related to know-how, entrepreneurship and sustainable development. He has carried out extensive researches in Kenya, particularly in relation to the production and valorization of traditional agri-food products, and has recently been working also on issues related to the problem of Italian sounding.

In January, Prof. Fontefrancesco will deliver two co-lectures at Egerton University and the University of Embu focusing on relationships between food, agri-food products and culture.
