The Italian Cultural Institute of Nairobi is pleased to invite the public to an evening celebrating Italian and international music with Paolo Di Sabatino (piano and arrangements) and Alessandra Rossi (vocals).

The concert will take place on Tuesday, 14 July 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Baraka Opera Kenya – Creative Hub, on the 4th floor of Lavington Mall, and will take the audience on a musical journey through beloved Italian classics, jazz standards and celebrated international repertoire.

Paolo Di Sabatino is one of Italy’s most acclaimed jazz pianists, composers and arrangers. A graduate in both Piano and Jazz from the Conservatory of Bari, he has performed at prestigious festivals and concert venues in Italy and abroad, collaborating with internationally renowned artists such as Mario Biondi, Paolo Fresu, Enrico Rava, Dave Samuels and Antonella Ruggiero. He has released numerous recordings and educational publications and is currently a Jazz Piano professor.

Alessandra Rossi is a young Italian jazz vocalist from L’Aquila. She gained recognition after winning first prize in the Advanced Category of the Crescendo International Music Competition in Italy, subsequently performing in the international finals at Carnegie Hall in New York. She is regarded as one of the most promising emerging voices in Italian jazz.

The programme features some of the most beloved Italian songs, alongside timeless international classics and original compositions by Paolo Di Sabatino.
