The Italian Cultural Institute in Nairobi is pleased to announce a new monthly event for all lovers of Dante’s language: IncontrItaliani, a monthly literary event held in Italian language, at cocktail hour.
The initiative includes a series of presentations of books written in Italian by authors living in Kenya:

Introduction to the series by Ambassador Roberto Natali and presentation of the book “Io sono tutte loro” (I am all of them): author Esmeralda Lovatelli in conversation with Valeria Buoninfante, Deputy Director of the AICS Office in Nairobi.
THURSDAY 30 SEPTEMBER AT 6.30 PM
Presentation of the book ‘Lumumba, eroe africano’ (Lumumba, African Hero): author Luca Catalano in conversation with Elena Gallenca, Director of the IIC Nairobi
THURSDAY 13 NOVEMBER AT 6:30 PM
Presentation of the book ‘Ti immagini l’Africa’ (Can You Imagine Africa) with Freddie Del Curatolo
The series – in Italian – is curated by Freddie Del Curatolo and MalindiKenya.net portal. All events will take place at Enoteca (Muthaiga Shopping Centre).
Entrance (including drinks and snacks): 1500 Kes. At the end of each event, a special price menu will be available at the restaurant ‘La Dolce Vita’.
