On Wednesday 22 April the United Nations will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of World Earth Day, the awareness raising event for the protection of the planet involving over seventy-five thousand partners in 193 countries.
Italy is entrusted with the task of opening the celebrations by dedicating them to Pope Francis, on the 5th anniversary of the Encyclical Laudato si ‘, which has contributed so much to generating global awareness of climate change, on the eve of the historic Paris Climate Agreement ( 2015).
Rai5 and RaiPlay will broadcast the #OnePeopleOnePlanet multimedia marathon live with a 12-hour program from 8 to 20 and all content live or on demand will be available on the platform www.onepeopleoneplanet.it.
