To see the stars again, to ward off the darkness of Covid, Ravenna Festival brings a night full of music and dance with Beatrice Rana (piano) accompanied by Mario Brunello (cello). The piece is brought to life by a pas de deux with performers who are couples in life as well as art.
Prestigious performances by Silvia Azzoni and Alexander Ryabko from John Neumeier Hamburg Ballet and by Iana Salenko and Marian Walter from Staatsballett Berlin; Serge Bernal and Matteo Miccini alternate on stage on the notes of Corelli’s Folia de Caballeros. Solos by Hugo Marchand, Opéra de Paris, by Mario Brunello who plays a Baroque small cello and by the young, brilliant pianist Beatrice Rana.
