In the title West from East – new and ancient routes along and in between land and sea – the key to a tale in music and words of a journey or a dialogue between two worlds, Europe and the Middle East, which have informed the western mind.
The Greek world and the Italian Magna Graecia, as well as the Persian world, to which Ramin Bahrami belongs, have traced a geographical and cultural latitude in the Mediterranean, an archetype which cannot be ignored in today’s world. Armonie d’Arte searches artistic, musical and literary connections, in an exploration of old and new routes.
