The event will also host the award ceremony for the artistic competition <strong>\u201cEmpowering Art: Kenya\u2019s Creative Voices\u201d<\/strong>, which invited local talents to share, through their art, stories and viewpoints that foster a culture of respect, equity, and self-determination.<\/p>\n<p>Also on display will be the works created by some of the winners during the artistic residency led by artist <strong>Stefania D\u2019Amato<\/strong>, along with the flags from the <strong>\u201cMoving Flags over the Wind\u201d<\/strong> series, also created by them\u2014symbolic explorations of movement, freedom, and transformation.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition will remain open to the public at the Kenya National Library until <strong>2<\/strong><strong><sup>nd<\/sup><\/strong><strong> December 2025<\/strong>, offering the community a valuable opportunity to engage with themes central to human development, gender equality, and social justice.<\/p>\n<p>Participation requires <strong>mandatory registration<\/strong>, and seating is limited.<br \/>\nTo register, please send an email to: <strong>segreteria.nairobi@aics.gov.it<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>CANVAS OF CHANGE: UNA MOSTRA PER CELEBRARE I DIRITTI DELLE DONNE E DELLE RAGAZZE<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>21 novembre 2025 \u2013 Maktaba Kuu, Biblioteca Nazionale del Kenya<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ore 17:30 \u2013 20:00<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Nairobi, insieme all\u2019Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS) di Nairobi e sotto la guida dell\u2019Ambasciata d\u2019Italia in Kenya, \u00e8 lieto di presentare <em>Canvas of Change<\/em>, l\u2019evento di lancio della campagna <strong>Activate Nairobi<\/strong>, in occasione dei <em>16 giorni di attivismo contro la violenza di genere<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>La serata segner\u00e0 l\u2019inaugurazione della mostra <em>Canvas of Change: una mostra per celebrare i diritti delle donne e delle ragazze<\/em>, realizzata attraverso lo sguardo creativo di artiste e artisti kenioti.
