THIS EVENT IS   F U L L Y   B O O K E D

On the occasion of the XXII Italian Language Week in the World you are invited to the screening of the animated film

“TRASH. The Legend of the Magic Pyramid” (in Italian with English subtitles) directed by Francesco Dafano and Luca Della Grotta

The screening will be held at “Queen Deli” (2 Peponi Road, Nairobi – at the junction of Peponi Road and Lower Kabete Road)
Sunday, 30th October at 3.00pm.

Admission is free but you must book by writing to: iicnairobi@esteri.it

The film deals with the theme of waste. Rubbish abandoned in the streets, in markets, under bridges. Ignored by everyone. Inert. Until night falls…
Slim is a ruined cardboard box. He lives in a market, with his friend Bubbles – a soda bottle – and other companions. He survives by hiding from the Suckers, vacuum cleaning machines.
Slim is resigned, he no longer believes in anything, not even in the legend of the Magic Pyramid, a mythical place where it is possible for rubbish to have a second chance, to be reborn and still be useful carriers for themselves and others, until an unexpected event changes his destiny.

The event is free of charge. To participate you must book by writing to: iicnairobi@esteri.it
