The initiative makes <strong data-start=\"261\" data-end=\"275\">\u20ac1 million<\/strong> available to support artistic and cultural projects and training programmes designed to strengthen relations between Italy and African countries.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"423\" data-end=\"725\">The Award aims to promote cultural exchange and the mobility of artists and professionals, enhance cultural heritage and creative industries, develop new skills, and encourage long-term cooperation among Italian and African institutions, universities, cultural organisations and creative practitioners.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"2x20rm\" data-start=\"727\" data-end=\"756\">Two areas of intervention<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"758\" data-end=\"796\">The call is divided into two sections:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"798\" data-end=\"1155\">\n<li data-section-id=\"1e7efuj\" data-start=\"798\" data-end=\"1004\"><strong data-start=\"800\" data-end=\"823\">Mattei Award \u2013 Arts<\/strong>, aimed at initiatives in the fields of visual and applied arts, performing and audiovisual arts, publishing translation, and the international promotion of photography exhibitions.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1d70vqp\" data-start=\"1005\" data-end=\"1155\"><strong data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1033\">Mattei Award \u2013 Academy<\/strong>, dedicated to training, exchange and cooperation programmes in the artistic and cultural fields between Italy and Africa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1493\">Eligible applicants include <strong data-start=\"1185\" data-end=\"1283\">individuals, artistic and cultural collectives, and public or private non-profit organisations<\/strong> based in Italy, provided they have at least three years of experience in the cultural and creative sectors.
