These grants are distributed as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>A) Establishment and Maintenance of Italian Language Teaching Positions:<\/strong><br \/>\nThis category is primarily intended for foreign schools wishing to introduce or maintain Italian language courses, both curricular and extracurricular. The contributions are aimed at partially covering the salaries of teachers directly hired by the schools under local employment regulations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>B) Contributions for Scholarships and Study Trips in Italy:<\/strong><br \/>\nThis category provides contributions for students who have successfully completed courses in Italian language and culture. Applications will be evaluated based on the purpose of the scholarship and the coherence of the study trip program. Priority will be given to schools whose students have participated in initiatives and competitions promoted by MAECI. These contributions will be granted only if residual funds are available, after funding the teaching positions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Below is the list of documents required to apply for the grant:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Letter from the Applicant School:<\/strong>**<br \/>\nWritten in Italian, including the school\u2019s identification details (name, address, contact information) and a detailed explanation of the request, signed by the responsible authority.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Grant Application Form (Annex A \u2013 Annex B):<\/strong><br \/>\nApplications must be submitted using the editable forms:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cAnnex A\u201d for contributions supporting Italian language teaching positions<\/li>\n<li>\u201cAnnex B\u201d for contributions for scholarships\/study trips in Italy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Final Report Form (Annex A2 \u2013 Annex B2):<\/strong><br \/>\nAll institutions that have previously received funding must submit a final report and financial statement on the use of the last grant received, using:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cAnnex A2\u201d for contributions related to teaching positions<\/li>\n<li>\u201cAnnex B2\u201d for contributions related to scholarships\/study trips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note that submitting the financial report is a mandatory requirement for the allocation of new funds and applies to all foreign institutions that have received contributions in the past five years, regardless of whether they are submitting a new application.<\/p>\n<p>All attachments are available on this page, in the dedicated section.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for submitting grant applications is <strong>April 2, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For further details and to submit your application, please complete the required annexes and send them by the deadline to: <strong>iicnairobi@esteri.it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"We are pleased to announce an opportunity offered by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) to promote the Italian language and culture in non-university foreign educational institutions.
