We are pleased to announce an opportunity offered by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to promote the Italian language and culture in non-university foreign educational institutions. These grants are distributed in the following ways:<\/p>\n

A) Creation and Maintenance of Italian Language Chairs:<\/strong> This category is intended to partially cover the remuneration of teachers directly hired by schools under local contracts.<\/p>\n

B) Partial Contributions to Scholarships and Study Trips in Italy:<\/strong> Alternatively, the grants can be used to partially contribute to scholarships and study trips in Italy for students who have successfully completed Italian language and culture courses.<\/p>\n

Below are the required documents for submitting a grant application:<\/strong><\/p>\n

a. Letter from the Requesting School:<\/strong> Drafted in Italian, containing the identifying details of the school (name, address, contact information) and a detailed explanation of the request, signed by the responsible party.<\/p>\n

b. Contribution Request Form (Attachment A – Attachment B):<\/strong> The contribution requests should be prepared by filling out the editable “Attachment A<\/a>” form for support to Italian language chairs and the editable “Attachment B” form in case of requests for scholarships\/study trips for further education in Italy.<\/p>\n

c. Final Report Form (Attachment A2 – Attachment B2):<\/strong> All educational institutions that have previously benefited from contributions must submit the forms for the final report and accountability for the use of the last contribution received. Use the new editable “Attachment A2<\/a>” form in case of contributions received for the creation and functioning of Italian language chairs and “Attachment B2<\/a>” in case of contributions received for scholarships\/study trips for further education in Italy. It is important to note that the submission of documents for accountability is a mandatory requirement for all foreign institutions that have received contributions within the last five years, regardless of whether a new request is submitted or not.<\/p>\n

The deadline for submission of grant applications is March 4, 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n
